ASUS also took the wraps off the ExpertBook B7 Flip at Computex 2022
At 14.9mm, the ExpertBook B9 is a pretty thin laptop, too, making it ideal for use on the go. It features Intel’s Alder Lake (12th-gen) processor, while customers can also opt for Core i7 vPro with integrated Iris Xe graphics. The ExpertBook B9 can have up to 4TB of internal storage using two SSDs (RAID). ASUS says the ExpertBook B9 is also rugged, thanks to its MIL-STD 810H certification. Security features include a Kensington lock slot, webcam shield, and a fingerprint scanner (via TechRadar). Adding to its durability credentials is a spill-resistant full-sized keyboard. Customers can expect up to 16 hours of battery life as per the manufacturer, which is on par with most notebooks in this genre. ASUS also took the wraps off the 14-inch ExpertBook B7 Flip, featuring a 360-degree hinge and a touchscreen display. This allows extensive screen flexibility and the ability to use it as a tablet simply by flipping the screen over. The company also offers its stylus, known as the ASUS Pen, to assist with creative tasks.
The ExpertBook B7 Flip comes with 5G capabilities and offers the same 12th gen Intel processor as the ExpertBook B9. You can configure the laptop with up to 64GB of RAM and a maximum of 2TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. However, the battery life is only 11 hours with the new ExpertBook B7 Flip.
The ASUS ExpertBook B9 and the B7 Flip will start at $1,399 and above, depending on the model
Users also get Full HD+ or Quad HD+ display options with the ExpertBook B7 Flip. In terms of connectivity, this flexible laptop offers two USB Type-A ports, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI, a headphone jack, and a Smart Card reader. Moreover, the ExpertBook B7 Flip can connect up to three external monitors at the same time. ASUS said the two laptops will be available in the third quarter of 2022. Both models will start from $1,399, although the price tag goes up significantly if you choose the top-end version of either notebook.
