Those who want to participate in the beta can do so one of two ways. Pre-order for early access or wait for the open beta. PlayStation players will also get first crack at the beta. So if you want to play before anyone else, you’ll need to check it on either PS4 or PS5. The PlayStation beta begins on September 16 and will last through the weekend until Tuesday, September 20. September 16 and 17 will be for early access, while the open beta will be the remaining three days. If you want to wait for Xbox or PC, the crossplay beta begins on September 22 for early access. This will also be the second weekend of the open beta for PlayStation players. And lastly, September 24 – 26 will be the open beta for all platforms.
The Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare II multiplayer reveal happens at Next
Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare II will launch this Fall on October 28, and while the campaign will no doubt be exciting, the multiplayer is where the game will see most of its continued engagement. As is always the case with every new Call Of Duty game. Activision has yet to reveal the multiplayer for its upcoming title, but it will do so at the upcoming Next event on September 15. As part of the reveal, Infinity Ward will talk about some of the innovations that are being introduced to the franchise. It’ll also show off some live gameplay of the multiplayer. The studio even has a couple of secrets it’s keeping close to the chest. Noting “[REDACTED] information and surprises.” While there’s still more than a month to wait before the full multiplayer reveal, players get their first look at one of the upcoming maps in a new teaser.
