Galaxy A53 5G leaked in live images
The different sources have shared live images of the Galaxy A53 5G today. Firstly, tipster Sudhansu Ambhore has shared photos of what appears to be a Samsung employee posing with the unannounced phone. It confirms the rear design of the phone that we have been seeing in leaked renders for the past few months. The device has four cameras at the back, all housed in a raised island in the top-left corner; typical Samsung design language. The original source of this leak is a Facebook post, which seems to have been taken down already. But the Twitter post from Sudhansu Ambhore is still up, at least as of the writing of this article. The phone we see here is in a rose gold finish, which is one of the four rumored color variants. The other three are black, white, and blue, which you can see in leaked renders below. The next batch of Galaxy A53 5G live images leaked today also shows the rose gold color variant of the phone. This one is seemingly the African version of the phone, which will come with a 24-month warranty. More importantly, the leak confirms that the device will ship without a charging adapter in the retail box. That’s based on the thickness of the box, which isn’t big enough to house a charger inside.
Galaxy A53 5G rumored specs
Along with real-life photos, detailed specs of the Galaxy A53 5G have also leaked today. Well, we already knew most of this stuff thanks to prior leaks, but it’s still nice to have a rundown of all the key information at once. Starting from the front, the Galaxy A53 5G will sport a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will have an under-display fingerprint scanner as well. Samsung’s Exynos 1200 processor will be under the hood, with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The quad rear-camera setup that we talked about above will include a 64-megapixel primary shooter with OIS (optical image stabilization). There’s also a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera and two 5-megapixel sensors for macro shots and depth sensing. The front camera is a 32-megapixel sensor. Other rumored specs include a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging but, as said before, you will not get a charger in the box. The Galaxy A53 5G will boast an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance and will come with Android 12 and Samsung’s One UI 4.1 out of the box. With Samsung scheduled to unveil the phone on Thursday, March 17, it’s not a very long wait now before things get official. But we wouldn’t be surprised if the device is subject to another leak before that. Stay tuned.
