The Galaxy Z Flip 4 specifications tipped months ahead of launch
Yogesh Brar doesn’t make such guarantees, but he did share a lot of information. It seems like the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will be fueled by the same SoC as its larger sibling, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. That is a processor Qualcomm announced quite recently, and it offers slightly better performance, in addition to much lower power consumption. The main display on the device will measure 6.7 inches. It will be a fullHD+ Super AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The secondary display will measure 2.1 inches, and it will also be a Super AMOLED display, but a 60Hz one. Both of those panels will be flat. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 will include 8GB of RAM, and it will arrive in 128GB and 256GB storage options. Android 12 will come pre-installed on the device, along with Samsung’s OneUI 4 skin.
It will include a considerably larger battery than its predecessor
A 3,700mAh battery is mentioned by the tipster, which has already been confirmed by certifications. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 will include a considerably larger battery than its predecessor. As a reminder, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 ships with a 3,300mAh unit. That being said, the phone will offer support for 25W wired charging, and 10W wireless charging. You’ll have to get the charger separately, though, as it won’t be included in the box. Two cameras will sit on the back of the phone. A 12-megapixel main camera, and a 12-megapixel ultrawide unit. A single 10-megapixel camera will sit on the phone’s main display (punch hole). That is basically all the information the tipster shared. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 is expected to arrive at the same time as the Galaxy Z Fold 4. Both smartphones will likely launch in August.
