Which device you use to stream them, and how you control your characters and interact with each title. GeForce NOW started adding touch controls to games back in January of this year. Beginning with Fortnite, then expanding to Genshin Impact. Today that list grows a lot larger with a collection of popular titles. However, there are still some restrictions to be aware of.
Some GeForce NOW touch controls are only compatible with tablets
While NVIDIA is adding support for 13 more games today, the touch controls in some of those games will only be compatible with tablets. In fact it’s almost an even split between tablets and the games that will work on both tablet and mobile. For mobile and tablet users, Trine 2: Complete Story, Slay The Spire, Dota Underlords, Into The Breach, Papers Please and Tabletop Simulator join Genshin Impact and Fortnite on the list of games that support touch controls. For tablets only, there’s March of Empires, Door Kickers, Bridge Constructor Portal, Shadowrun Returns, Monster Train, Talisman: Digital Edition, and Magic: The Gathering Arena. In addition to supporting more games, NVIDIA says it’s also adding a new ‘Mobile Touch Controls’ row to the app to make games that support them easier to find.
Dive into 8 new games from today
Alongside the expansion of touch controls, there’s 8 new games being added. GeForce NOW subscribers can check them out starting today. This includes five new release titles. Something NVIDIA has been good about for a while. Those titles are A Plague Tale: Requiem, Batora – Lost Haven, Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef, The Tenants, and Faith: The Unholy Trinity. Evoland Legendary Edition, Commandos 3 – HD Remaster, and Monster Outbreak are also being added to the service today. And to top it all off, some games in the GeForce NOW Android app will support Adaptive VSync. All as part of today’s GeForce NOW update.
