Because consumers can pre-order the Galaxy Watch 4 starting today. Samsung didn’t mention exactly when the pre-orders would go live. But Samsung usually opens things up right after its event. So if you’re trying to get your hands on one of these new watches, keep an eye out for the device to appear at your chosen retailer’s website.
You can pre-order the Galaxy Watch 4 from your favorite retailers
As expected Samsung will be offering the Galaxy Watch 4 through various retailers. This naturally includes its own online shop. So if you prefer to get everything from Samsung through Samsung, you’ll be able to do so. Having said that, in-store stock won’t be available until August 27. So if you head into a store to pay for one today, that’s all you’ll be doing. As you won’t be able to walk out with it until the end of the month.
Samsung won’t be offering any pre-order promos
Usually Samsung offers some sort of promotion for pre-ordering its devices. But this tends to be limited mostly to its flagship smartphones and tablets. There will be no pre-order promotions for the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. While there won’t be any special promos, you will be able to order the watch in either version, and in a variation of colors. This means you can pick up the Galaxy Watch 4 starting at $249 or the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic starting at $349. Worth keeping in mind is that those will be the base prices for each model, which will be Wi-Fi and Bluetooth only. Samsung will offer the LTE models though.
