Samsung is rapidly rolling out November security update to its devices
As usual, Samsung was the first OEM to release the November SMR to its devices. The Korean behemoth began the rollout in the last week of October. It has since seeded the new security patch to dozens of its Galaxy smartphones and tablets. The Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Galaxy Fold 5G, and Galaxy Note 10 Lite are the latest to join the party. None of these devices are likely receiving new features with the latest update. It only brings a bunch of privacy and security fixes from Google and Samsung, and maybe some stability improvements from the latter. The Korean firm earlier this month confirmed that the November SMR fixes more than 50 issues, at least four of which were of critical severity. These include 13 SVE (Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures) items, which are security flaws that only affect its Galaxy smartphones and tablets. Nonetheless, you can check for updates by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install on your phone.
