The real updates come from the inside tech and features though. With the Falster Gen 6, users will be able to charge the battery up to two times faster than the previous watch. Which amounts to about 80% of the battery life from a completely dead battery in just 30 minutes. Granted, the charging is likely to slow down once it reaches that point as the charge trickles in, but 80% should get you through a day and then some. Especially if you’re just getting back from work and want to make sure the watch stays charged while you head back out.
The Skagen Falster Gen 6 comes in 6 styles
True to form with previous versions of the watch, the Falster Gen 6 comes in multiple styles so you can customize your look. There are 6 total styles to choose from. Which, seems like a carefully thought out plan on Skagen’s part given the ‘6’ in the name. You can pick the watch up in Silver Tone, Rose-Gold Tone, Charcoal, and Black case colors. And there are multiple strap options in steel mesh, leather, and silicone, all of which also have multiple colors. In short, you have no shortage of options here. Plus, you could always throw on some aftermarket straps as long as they fit. Feature-wise you can expect really everything that you get with the Fossil Gen 6 watch that was announced last year. As this is essentially the same watch but with Skagen’s touch for the design. Features include a swimproof design up to 3 ATM, Google Pay, customizable buttons and dials, 8GB of storage, 1GB of RAM, and increased performance. The Falster Gen 6 will go on sale today, January 5, for $295 for each style.
