Today also marks the arrival of new DLC content for one of Stadia’s oldest games. Destiny 2. This morning Bungie officially revealed the upcoming Witch Queen expansion for the game. This doesn’t land until February 22 of next year, but today was the start of a new season. Season 15, officially known as Season of The Lost. Guardians are going back to the dreaming city, Mara Sov returns, and there’s a whole crop of new weapons and gear to acquire. And the season is live on Stadia as of this morning.

Stadia Pro games for September include Wave Break and two others

Last month you got five games added to the list. This month you get three. The number may have shrunk, but at least one of those games is a major hit and a big addition to the Pro lineup. Not to mention Stadia in general. For starters, Pro subscribers can claim Wave Break for free beginning on September 1. This was launched on Stadia back in June of 2020. It then landed on Steam in June of this year. The heavy hitter though is Darksiders 2 Definitive Edition. If you’ve never played any of the original three Darksiders games, they differ some from Darksiders Genesis. Mainly in the style of combat and camera view. But at the core they’re the same game. The Definitive Edition of Darksiders 2 is the best version, coming with all of the DLC. September 1 is also the launch date for this game. Lastly, players can claim Little Big Workshop for free as well. As always, players should expect some Pro content to be leaving soon. This time around, players will lose the ability to claim Gunsport, Bluefire, and Chronos: Before the Ashes. There’s still a little time to snatch them at no charge though. As Google won’t pull them from the Pro lineup until August 31. Which gives subscribers at least a week to add them to their libraries.
